For this performance, this is another re-examination of my inactive love life with the addition of the self reflection of my beauty. The two topics intermingle the feelings of loneliness, inadequacy and overthinking when it effects the individual's ego and confidence. Meanwhile, my room is in disarray and my SoundCloud playlist plays in a slight disjointed volume.

My performance in this video was me being myself on a regular basis and enjoying my favourite things - watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, eating Nutella and playing with a knife. These elements together make up a mild but odd combination, with the combination of comfort with the Nutella and being in bed while eating Nutella with a knife and the sounds of a scene from a chaotic show.

In this video, I decided to make myself and the performance be relatively sensual. The set design, hair, makeup and music are akin to sensual style, added with three print outs of three well known men - Choi Minho, a K-Pop idol and a member from SHINee, Sam Hyde, a comedian, and Michael Vegas, a porn star. Only to be juxtaposed with talking about how I would like the three men to destroy my body. This idea came from reading fan fictions online that were written in a sexual nature and kinks of an absurd nature.

This was filmed hours after the COVID level update in Auckland on October 4th, where we were still going to be in Level 3 lockdown for the meantime. It was only after talking with friends and going on social media where I observed the fatigue that my friends were having from dealing with these circumstances.
In this video, I wanted to create an doomsday-like and claustophobic environment in my bedroom and act as though I was apathetic and deflated from the current events.
