Nü Orchidaceae, 2025
Nü Orchidaceae is an ongoing series of small sculptures in which clay is moulded into orchids, the series started in 2025. The sculptures are reminiscent of past ceramic and pottery designs from centuries before to contemporary influences.
The visualisation of Nü Orchidaceae works towards experimentation and attention to detail with form, colour and material, remaking the form of the orchid flower into framed botanical with a new elaborate form.
